Paula started within the industry working in an administration capacity witn a major construction company in 1980, which provided the basis of her now prodigious organisational and management skills. By 1983 she had moved fully to architecture and cut her professional teeth as a draftsperson, quickly moving through the ranks to architectural assistant by late 1984. She went on to complete a part time course for "Women into Architecture and Building" and immediately set about obtaining her Degree and subsequent Diploma at North London and at The Bartlett; University College London respectively. During this time she also taught I.T and Design part time at a renouned London secondary school.

Progressing with passion through architectural practices and growing in experience and confidence she also maintained a flourishing private commission workload where her flair for management and design grew and received a design award for one of her retail clients in 1998. Her belief in quality of service and product to the client allied to her infectious enthusiasm and committed design ethos combines with her co-directors talents to generate a balanced questioning and extremely diverse professional management team. Paula's love for architecture stems from an understanding of the client's requirements, within a good interpretation of the brief and collaboration resulting in a design worthy of calling architecture.

Peter studied construction in buckinghamshire before completing his architectural education at South Bank and Thames Polytechnics in the early 1990's.

He has been deeply involved in the business of architecture and construction and design since 1983 and has built up an enviable variety of experience which includes 8 years of exceptionally high quality refurbishment and historic building work, contemporary new build projects, refurbishment and fit out work spanning from the residential development through to the corporate, commercial and industrial sectors and has been continuously engaged as a senior project architect since 1986.

Previous employment experience with a variety of commercial and specilaist practices and business have provided him with a breadth of knowledge about the business of design. His understanding and experience of construction methods, process and contractual awareness meshed with a deep commitment to design provide one part of the strength which P2 design limited may bring to any project.
